Individual Therapy

In aiming towards your goals, I consider the many facets of who you are; your physical, spiritual, emotional, relational and historic self as well as your present circumstance. In compassionately exploring all of who you are we work toward resolving historic issues and forming a deeper relationship with yourself, leading to acceptance and wholeness.

Older Children and Teens

In Child therapy it is important to meet the child where they are developmentally and emotionally. I work with their parents to identify and resolve the issues that are getting in the way of their growth and development. Death, divorce, trauma, anxiety, learning differences and poor self-image are some of the concerns which bring children to me. Much of my career has been devoted to work with children and their families.

It will be important to discern whether teletherapy will be an effective modality for your child.

Seniors

The history and wisdom you have acquired along the way make it a particular privilege to work with you. The blessings and challenges of this phase of the journey present a powerful opportunity to choose how you will embrace this important time of life.

Couples Therapy

Learning how to safely and effectively communicate what’s in your heart with your partner is central to couples therapy. As with individual therapy understanding where you came from helps inform how you got to where you are and navigating where you want to go. Understanding how you have formed attachments with each other and the patterns which have developed that keep you from attaining the closeness you desire and the safety you need are often central to this task. Creating a shared vision, of where you want to go from here and actively nurturing the love you want opens a new path for healing.

Family Therapy

Family therapy is often focused on helping family members adapt to the changing circumstances of life and the developmental challenges which growth present. I work with families to develop both the structure and flexibility necessary to navigate these challenges.

Parent Coaching

The task of parenting is one of the most consequential endeavors we take in life. Having support for this challenge can reinforce parental attunement and support healthy attachment. Understanding developmental stages is central to setting expectations and guides us in our work together.
